Vivezza Vineyard

I had the distinct pleasure of spending the day with Paul Troop of Vivezza Vineyard. I'm impressed with someone who can make delicious wine or grow vines well or graft grapevines or install a professional looking vineyard. They have done ALL of these things AND selected more than six modern hybrid grapes with good disease resistance and excellent wine flavor and chemistry. These people are blazing a trail that many fortunate people are going to benefit from.

They only spray a couple times a year at most, for mite control and powdery mildew control. That's an extremely light touch relative to the wine industry broadly.
