Polyphemous Moth
Another beautiful reason to stay away from pesticides, this moth found at our vineyard.
Meanwhile, the growth in the vineyard has been spectacular. We'll have at least eleven LaBelle vines on the 6' high cordon wire this year. Four or five Monastery Muscat, a few Jupiter and several other classic Epona varietals.
It will be enough that we can start producing small batches of estate wines in the 2027 vintage.
Meanwhile, we plan to lean on our friends at Paradisos del Sol in Zillah for their delicious, spray-free Muscat, Chenin Blanc and Xarello white grapes. For our red, we plan to try for the classic Epona red blend, using grapes from the original Epona vineyard.
We'll see how that goes in the next few months.
